Ask the institution for a sealed or officially issued transcript. Many assessing bodies require documents issued by the institution rather than personal copies.
Check the reverse side
The grading scale and explanatory notes are commonly printed on the back and are part of what the assessor reads.

Every subject title, credit value, grade and the grading scale, plus the institution's name and the registrar's endorsement.
Follow the assessing body's channel

Does the assessing body need the transcript as well as the degree?
Most do, because the transcript is what shows the content and volume of study. Read the assessor's document checklist to be sure.
Should subject names be matched to overseas equivalents?
No. Subjects are translated as titled. Deciding equivalence is the assessing body's role, and altered titles undermine the translation.
My university publishes an English name. Is that used?
Yes. The institution's own published English name is used so the assessor can verify it.
Do education documents need legalisation?
Only where the receiving body says so. Many skills assessments accept a certified translation with a copy of the original.
