Thai house registration (Tabien Baan) translation
In short
Send the household page and the personal record page of every person named in the application, and translate both in full including the registrar's endorsement. Certify for the destination — NAATI for Australia, legalisation where a Thai government endorsement is required.
The house registration book (Tor Ror 14) records the address and every person registered at it. Overseas authorities read it as residence and household evidence. The household page alone rarely answers the question asked, because the personal record page carries each individual's registration details.

Step by step
Identify the pages needed
Work out who the application refers to and collect the personal page for each of them, not only the household summary page.
Scan flat, page by page
Bound books lose inner-margin text when photographed. Scan each page flat so the gutter text stays readable.
Translate every field
Address, house registration number, each person's entry, and any move-in or move-out annotation are translated as they appear.
Certify for the destination
Apply the certification route the receiving authority states, and keep the page order in the translated set identical to the original.
Common reasons for rejection
- • Sending only the first page and omitting personal record pages.
- • Inner-margin text lost in the fold of a photographed book.
- • Omitting annotations recording a move in or out of the address.
- • Address romanised differently from other documents in the same set.
FAQ
Which pages should I send?
The household page plus the personal record page of every person mentioned in the application. When unsure, send the whole book and we identify what is relevant.
Is a printed extract from the district office acceptable?
Extracts issued by the district office are commonly used and are translated the same way. Check whether the receiving authority asks for the book itself.
The address romanisation differs across my documents. Does that matter?
It can raise questions. We keep one consistent romanisation across the set and note the Thai original so the authority can match them.
Does a yellow house registration book differ?
The yellow book records non-Thai nationals registered at an address. It is translated in the same way; tell us which type you hold.
