Consular Legalisation and Embassy Authentication Package
Short answer
This package moves your documents through legalisation at the Department of Consular Affairs and, where required, authentication at the destination country's embassy. We confirm the correct order before starting, submit and collect on your behalf, and report progress at each stage. Official fees are the authority's own rates and are billed separately from the handling fee.
Order matters more than most people expect. Translating before or after certification in the wrong sequence can force the entire bundle to be redone, so this package always starts by confirming the sequence against the destination's stated requirement.
What the package includes

What you need to send us

How the work runs

- 3Submit for consular legalisation — The bundle is lodged with the Department of Consular Affairs and tracked through its processing round.
- 4Submit to the embassy where required — Documents then go to the destination country's embassy for authentication under that mission's own rules.
- 5Collect, verify and return — We check every stamp against the requirement, send you images, then dispatch the documents.

Turnaround
Depends on each authority's processing round and current queue. Embassy steps in particular vary by mission and cannot be shortened by the applicant or by us.

Frequently asked questions
Is an apostille the same as consular legalisation?
No. An apostille is a single certificate used between countries party to the relevant convention, while consular legalisation is a chain of certifications ending at the destination's embassy. Which one applies depends on the country pair.
Can you handle documents issued outside Thailand?
Often yes, but the chain starts in the country of issue. We advise on the route before you send anything.
How is the total cost presented?
As two lines: our handling fee and the authority's official fee, quoted before we begin.
Do I have to attend in person?
Usually not, provided the authorisation paperwork is in order. Some missions require the holder to appear.
